About King Lento

King Lento was the former monarch of Zatga. He was the father of the Three Ladies: Aureli, Nann and Mythe. After Lento departed this life, Aureli took his throne and reigned as the monarch.

He was a king of Zatga when he was young and befriended with General Barthos. He seemed to be careless about his royal life, though he was actually an elegant gentleman. He had weak body and easily get ill.

When visited a feast at Zasatu, he met young Meriel. As a contrast to him, Meriel was a young lady full of youth and life. He was a gentleman, elegant and royal. After their encounter, Lento later admitted to Barthos that Meriel's passion for life would make her a very good queen in the history.

After their second encounter, Meriel accepted his love and his proposal and thus she became his wife and the queen of Zatga. He seemed to be right, however, as Meriel proved to be a loving mother and a devoted wife and also a perfect queen.

However, after the death of Meriel, Lento seemed to lose his passion for life and suddenly became weaker and ill. He suddenly looked older than his actual age. But he remained the gentleman he used to be, and still a good friend of Barthos. However, after losing his wife, he lost his best friend as well. Barthos was killed when he tried to safe Lento's life from a murderer. Barthos' son, Kairim, took his father position as the General.

He dwelt in sadness, though his daughters was his only happiness and reason to live. But he grew worse and so weak he had to stay in bed.

He departed this life when Aureli was 18.
